Dr. Abdulla Naqi

Dr. Abdulla Naqi received his medical degree from the royal college of surgeons in Dublin, Ireland in1997. He went after to do an internship year at our lady of Lourdes hospital in Drogheda, Ireland., and became a fully registered Doctor at the Irish medical council. He returned to Dubai, United Arab emirates in 1998 to start a career in Ophthalmology. In 2002 Dr. Naqi started his residency program training at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, He was inaugurated at the royal college of surgeon in Canada and awarded the fellowship of the Royal college of surgeons of surgeons and became a Canadian board certified ophthalmologist. Dr. Naqi continued his subspecialty fellowship training at the University of Toronto, Canada., were he successfully completed a year of research fellowship in glaucoma and advanced anterior segment surgery, then followed that by a year in surgical fellowship in glaucoma and advanced anterior segment with the world renowned Surgeon, Dr. Ike Ahmed in 2009. Joined the Dubai Health authority to run the section of the glaucoma and cataract, dealing with complex glaucoma and dislocated cataracts and intraocular lenses. Specially interested in advanced technology intraocular lenses. involved with teaching residents and joiner ophthalmologists the principals of ophthalmic surgeries.

Dr. Naqi established and currently running an ambulatory surgical center which provides surgical solutions to refractive errors, using latest generation excimer laser machines. He formed an international team of staff from the American contents to provide surgical treatment of wide range of ophthalmic conditions.
